Year 13 Student Takes Part in House of Commons Debate

Many congratulations to Amelia Clark-Allen, Year 13, for taking part in a debate in the House of Commons chamber in Westminster on Friday 17 November. As a member of Doncaster Youth Council and also the British Youth Parliament, Amelia and other students across the country are leading a campaign advocating free school meals for all young people, regardless of economics circumstances.

As well as attending the debate in the famous House of Commons chamber, Amelia and others had the opportunity to explore the Houses of Parliament and meet the Speaker and Deputy Speaker of the House of Commons and a number of other Members of Parliament.
